Cal Lutheran to host Yom Hashoah program

California Lutheran University will commemorate victims of the Holocaust during a Yom Hashoah program at 10:10 a.m. Wed., April 29, in Samuelson Chapel on the campus, 60 W. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks.

Rabbi Gershon Weissman and Cantor Kenny Ellis from Temple Beth Haverim in Agoura Hills, CLU campus pastors Melissa and Scott MaxwellDoherty, and students will conduct the Holocaust Remembrance Service.

Yom Hashoah marks the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.

CLU's Office of Campus Ministry and Office of Multicultural Programs are sponsoring the service, which is open to the public.
