My husband and I have been living in Thousand Oaks for almost 25 years, and I have always loved reading the letters to the editor.

I've noticed over the past few years that many of the letters have become increasingly negative, especially from one particular person.

Who is this Tina Aschenbrenner or is it Tina Sandoval? Has she now changed her name to Sonia Cervantes?

The letters are all the same, hateful of the people here in Thousand Oaks.

She's always speaking as though anyone who is English speaking and upper middle class is a racist.

If what she said really did happen to her son at his school, then I hope that she's removed him from the district. I would hope that it didn't happen at all and that, once again, her letter was filled with untruths.

I love this town and the people who have helped to make it a wonderful place to raise a family. People who aren't happy here need to leave to find someplace better. Tanya Fauster Thousand Oaks
