An assailant battered someone and stole property using force between 3 and 3:10 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 1000 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A female, 58, was cited for leaving her two dogs unattended in a locked vehicle without adequate ventilation, food or water at 4 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 3800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Prescription medication was stolen from a purse on Jan. 18 or 19 in the 4000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 69, was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision around 7:45 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 100 block of Promenade Way. He was cited less than an hour later that night in the 400 block of Cresthill Drive in Oak Park.
