Mary Rice Hopkins will present a family concert at 6:30 p.m. Fri., Jan. 23 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1600 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Hopkins presents an interactive concert for children and adults of singing based on the Bible. Songs include "Sing Through The Year," "Superman," "Fish Are Gonna Bite" and "Create in Me."

Darcie Maze's puppet will have conversations with Hopkins about peer pressure and other issues facing children.

Presale tickets, available in the church office, are $15 per family. Tickets at the door will be $20 per family.
