Toastmaster Club TOTAL (Thousand Oaks Toastmasters At Lunch) will host a speech evaluation contest from noon to 1 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 13 in the third level Oak Room at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Guests may see how the club evaluates a speech and also help vote for the winner.

Admission is free and open to the public.
