The Mountains Restoration Trust will offer two hikes in August at the Cold Creek Preserve in Calabasas.

Starting at 6 p.m. Sun., Aug. 14, hikers will travel for three hours in a moonrise/sunset walk along the Topanga Skyline Ridge Trail, above Cold Creek and Topanga. Hikers should bring supper, a snack to share and water. The hike will begin at the top of Stunt Road at the intersection of Schueren, Saddle Peak and Stunt roads, four miles from Mulholland Highway.

Hikers can also walk a moderately steep but slowly paced hike to Calabasas Peak, overlooking the San Fernando Valley, from 6 to about 9:30 p.m. Fri., Aug. 19.
