Alan Roubik, composer and recording artist from Agoura Hills, will present a solo piano concert at 2 p.m. Sun., July 24 at the Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Thousand Oaks.

Tickets are $24 and $29 if purchased through the box office or Ticketmaster. Patrons receive a $4 discount by ordering tickets through www.roubikrecords.com.

Roubik will be playing original compositions with classical, ragtime and modern jazz influences. “The biggest following right now is for my healing music,” said Roubik, who has a large number of fans in Japan and other areas as well.

Roubik’s music has been featured on cable television and PBS and his CDs have been distributed worldwide.
